Patrizia Garberi was born 1959 in Milan, where she attended the 'Liceo' specializing in art and then studied set design at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts where she attained the diploma in Scenography in 1982.

Up until the middle of 1980 she also worked with wall painting and canvas painting, combining a hyper-realistic technique of painting with different materials, favouring portrait and landscape. Painted 'trompe l'oeil' in private residences and painted backgrounds and other props for exhibitions and photographic studios, participating also to some personal and collective exhibitions.
